WE
ARE
Established in 2018, Junoon Foundation is a dedicated non-profit
organisation committed to addressing the educational and essential
support needs of 150 homeless children in the Borivali and Kandivali
areas of Mumbai. Our mission is to provide these children with the
opportunities they need, to build a brighter future
+WHAT WE DO
we bring education to the children where they live through our
makeshift classes held from Monday to Saturday. We prepare these
children for school enrollment and support them to stay in school. Our
comprehensive programs include daily meals, monthly grocery drives,
health check-ups, assistance with documentation like Aadhaar drives,
extracurricular activities, annual events, and field trips. Our goal
is to ensure these children experience the joys and opportunities of
childhood.
+WHY WE'RE HERE
Many children, often seen begging or selling goods at railway
stations and traffic signals, face immense struggles and challenges,
missing out on their fundamental right to education. We aim to
introduce education and learning into their lives, equipping them to
become school-ready and opening doors to better opportunities in
their future. Additionally, we address their nutritional and
healthcare needs to ensure their overall well-being.
+WHAT WE ARE UPTO
Currently, we conduct daily classes at four centers: Kandivali
Skywalk, Borivali, Saidham, and Magathane. Our goal is to expand our
reach to an additional 100 students by the end of this year, further
increasing our impact and empowering more children to realize their
